Frequently Asked
Good to know
When should I RSVP by?
+
Please RSVP by August 1, 2026 so we can give a final headcount to our caterer and venue.
Can I bring a plus-one?
+
Plus-ones are reserved for those listed on your invitation. If you'd like to bring someone special, just reach out to us directly.
Are kids welcome?
+
We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration with the exception of immediate family. We hope you'll take the opportunity for a night out!
What's the dress code?
+
Formal attire in soft desert tones: blush, dusty rose, sage, champagne, or cream. Please avoid white. Since the ceremony is outdoors on packed earth, comfortable shoes are recommended over thin stiletto heels.
What will the weather be like?
+
Late September in Apache Junction is typically warm and dry, with daytime highs around 90°F dropping to the mid-60s after sunset. The ceremony starts at 6 PM as the day cools down.
Is there parking at the venue?
+
Yes. Desert View Weddings has on-site parking for all guests, free of charge.
Where should I stay?
+
We've put together a list of recommended hotels on the Travel page. Most are within a 15–20 minute drive of the venue.
Will there be transportation?
+
We recommend rideshare (Uber/Lyft both serve the area reliably) or driving yourself. We'll update this page closer to the date if we arrange a shuttle.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
+
We're having an unplugged ceremony. Please put phones away so you can be fully present with us. Snap away during cocktail hour and the reception!
What if I have a dietary restriction?
+
Reach out to us directly with any allergies or restrictions and we'll make sure our caterer accommodates you.
Is there a registry?
+
Yes - see the Registry page. Your presence is gift enough, but if you'd like to give something we're registered at Target and Crate & Barrel.
